RENN-ART: (renn) German for 'racing' | (art) an expression of skilled design
This reflects our enthusiasm for well engineered automotive aftermarket products which enhance performance ... and look good doing it! RENN-ART was founded by Joe Bustamante, Emil Ostberg and Paul Lewin; three car guys actively involved in the aftermarket tuning scene. In fact, many of the products carried by RENN-ART are installed, tested and used on the founders' own rides.
Joe Joseph Bustamante – Owner
Joe has been in touch with the Audi/VW scene since 1998, when he bought his first VW - a’98 VR6 Jetta. He is locally known for his "catchy" IL license plate "SISSUPR" (S is Super) and you can catch him on AudiWorld posting under the screen name "kiss_my_S".
Joe graduated from the University of IL. @ Chicago in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Vibration/Acoustics. His passion for cars and motivation to be "different" is exactly why Joe strives to achieve total customer satisfaction with every sale and instill high levels of research and development into all of RENN-ART Designed products.

Emil Emil Ostberg - Owner
Emil has been in the import tuning scene for quite a while, starting with a 1995 Integra. That car served as great fun during his college career at North Central College, where he graduated in 1998 with honors in International Business and German (he also speaks Swedish, Danish and Norwegian fluently).
As his professional career flourished, becoming European Sales Manager for his employer, he rewarded himself with a brand new silver 2001 Jetta 1.8T. This is when his passion for turbos became fierce! The Jetta became an experiment in tuning turbocharged German cars for maximum performance without sacrificing it's intended use as a daily driver. It went on to receive awards and admiration for its clearly modified but cleanly styled European body. Since then Emil has owned a 1991 AWD Eagle Talon TSi (where he gained the respect for the 4g63 motor) and recently took delivery of the much coveted Mitsubishi Evo 8, which he plans on making into something very special.
Emil believes every customer should be treated fairly, just as he would treat a friend, no matter what the situation.
